Dual Mute Switch - 1U 8hp - Apnea 1U - passive mute switch for performance systems

Muting your signal in the world of Eurorack can often be terribly expensive and require your best 3U space. As a consequence, I decided to design a passive mute that was both not very expensive and not fancy at all: just a high quality, satisfyingly clicky and tactile switch seperating your signal from your system.

This dual 1U mute switch will work both with Intellijel and Pulp Logic formats, and additionally functions as a mult when only one mute is patched - send a signal to two places, and individually control the passage of each.

Operation couldn't be easier: give it a click, and your signal is muted. That's it. You want that signal to come back? Give it another click! Let me tell you, I have hunted far and wide for a switch that was both pleasing to use, had the least possible impact on the sound, long lifespan, good feel, all of those things - and once I found it, I called the factory and asked to buy every last unit they had in perpetuity.

While that deal is still in the works, I guarantee you won't find a better passive mute anywhere, except perhaps for physically cutting and mending your cables on the go. But that would be silly, you wouldn't do that.
